Welcome! I am Tim Blackett, an award- winning author and content creator, mainly on TikTok, but also Instagram and Youtube. Literary Fiction is my true love, but I read in all genres.

I have been a life-long reader, since I found the Narnia books as a twelve-year-old. Books have been my constant companion since then, everything from C.S. Lewis to Tolkien, to Edgar Allan Poe and Hemingway. In my 20s I found Yann Martel and Margaret Atwood and Anne Tyler and fell in love with LitFic. In my early thirties I found Sheila Heti and Karl Knausgaard and Rachel Cusk and fell in love with Autofiction. And now, toward the end of my thirties, I’m finding all kinds of new authors (thanks to BookTok), including N.K. Jemison, Octavia Butler, Tamsyn Muir, and many many others. I’m always looking for deeply flawed complex characters chasing after something profound. I’m so glad at this chance to meet new people and to build a community around great literature.
